The Developer:

 HCW Management/ Branson Hills

The HCW Development Company, LLC, brings together Branson’s most successful development team, having undertaken more than $200 million in development in the Branson area in the past ten years. With the recent opening of the Branson Landing, the team at HCW is hard at work developing the area’s next exciting addition, Branson Hills.

Branson Hills is the largest planned residential community ever built in Branson. Spanning 1,200 wooded acres northwest of the intersection of US Highway 65 and Branson Hills Parkway, the development will offer 800 single-family home sites, multi-family living, an age-restricted exclusive gated neighborhood of patio homes, a gated luxury home neighborhood, featuring the 417 Idea Home, a retail center, easy access to schools and health care centers, shows, restaurants, shopping, and the City of Branson’s new 42-acre RecPlex, a sports, fitness and recreation center.

The centerpiece of the Branson Hills community is the Tribute Golf Club, an 18-hole Bobby Clampett designed signature golf course to honor the late Payne Stewart. Clampett, a former professional golfer and CBS Television Network and Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., golf commentator, is designing the course to represent 18 character traits Stewart exhibited on and off the course.

The development was always intended to be a golf course community, and when HCW purchased the property two and a half years ago, they contacted the Stewart family to get the go-ahead for the unique Tribute Golf Club idea. After the golf course design was underway, HCW went to work on the rest of the development - keeping the amenities top-notch and convenient, while balancing the pristine aspects of the land. Wide walking and bike paths are designed to crisscross the scenic property and will offer the beauty of the landscape as well as convenient access to the RecPlex, a clubhouse, driving range, pro shop and swimming pool.

The Builder:

Doug Pitts Construction, Doug Pitts

Fun projects, cool ideas and things generally outside the box are right up builder Doug Pitts alley. An i

ndoor pool with a 60’ corkscrew water slide, an underground shooting range, an 8 x 12 gun safe with a vault door, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, keg beer systems, dumb waiters and a custom made smoker in an outdoor kitchen are just a few of the fun extras he has constructed, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Pitts spent several years in the classroom teaching high school students the basics in construction, woodworking, drafting, general shop and metal working while working in construction professionally. Moving up the ladder from construction superintendent to project manager handling major projects with budgets well over 15 million dollars gave Pitts the experience he needed to devote himself entirely to his own company, Doug Pitts Construction. Since starting his company in 1993, Pitts has been building and renovating custom homes and handles everything from basic additions to exclusive, upscale new construction.

Pitts prides himself on building homes reflective of the homeowners and their individual lifestyles. Taking the time to get to know his clients and incorporating their personalities and passions into the project is a part of his job he truly enjoys.

The house will be rich with details - niches here and there and a infinity pool are already part of the design and Pitts is excited to tackle the home’s unique features. As for the extras, whether it will be a pub, home theater or an outdoor kitchen, the ideas keep coming and Pitts is definitely going to have several fun projects during the building process to sink his teeth into.

The Custom Home Designer:

 Euro World Design, Ron Hill

The 417 Idea Home in Branson Hills at first glance is not something you would expect to see in Branson, or anywhere else in this part of the country. Designed by Ron Hill of EuroWorld Design, the upscale home is reminiscent of Tuscan influences, the 417 Idea Home will be rich with character.

The layout of the home lends itself to an active lifestyle, and since it is located in a golf community, amenities include features that golfers, or those who entertain golfers, will find appealing. The home also takes advantage of the spectacular views of Branson. The gourmet kitchen will boast the space and technical advancement in appliances and features to make it a hub for meal planning and preparation. The large living area, dining room and master suite also have fantastic views of the of the Tribute Golf Club.

Slated to be filled with a lot of charm, the 8,000 square-foot home will be filled with warm textures, and endless special features in the following areas:

            > Open floor plan – kitchen, dining and living room - with high ceilings

            > Gourmet style kitchen

            > Master bedroom suite with large walk-in closets

            > Additional bedroom suites

            > Three master baths in addition to a powder room

            > Study

            > Home theater, wine room and bar

            > Oversized three car garage with additional parking for a golf cart
