2010 Homes of the Year
The most-beautiful new homes in 417-land prove beautiful homes are a way of life, no matter what year it is.
Home-building is a journey that extends far beyond pouring concrete and hanging drywall. The best builders know this, and it shows in their work. For our annual Homes of the Year competition, we invited all of southwest Missouri’s builders to show us some of their favorite creations. We received 19 entries, each being a home well worth a prize.
But for the purpose of this feature story, not everyone could be a winner (it is a competition, after all). A panel of judges chose the cream of the crop in four categories, according to price points. The featured homes are the winners, and they boast creativity in a variety of styles, including Old World/traditional décor, French country inspiration and even a little modern flair. And they’re all gorgeous. Take a look; you’ll be glad you did.
