These moments can be hard to capture. Let us help you out.

Have you always wanted to primp and preen and get the movie-star treatment for a glossy magazine fashion photo shoot? If you think your family has modeling in its blood, then you’ll want to visit Taste of the Ozarks this month. It’s the annual food-focused fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters. (In year’s past, you knew it as A New Taste; the event got a name change in 2008.) One of the big ways the event raises money for the organization is through its live and silent auctions. This year, for the first time ever, 417 Magazine is donating a photo package unlike anything else you’ll see on the auction block.
The family that wins 417 Magazine’s Family Fashion Photo Feature will be models in the holiday style fashion feature in the December 2008 issue of 417 Magazine. That’s four to six pages of you and your family dressed in fabulous clothes and printed on glossy magazine pages. The photo shoot is with 417 Magazine’s award-winning photographer Edward Biamonte, and the family will be dressed in holiday fashions from local retailers. The family will also get to keep the photos Biamonte shoots for their own personal collection. At least one page of the photo feature in 417 Magazine will be put in a custom frame and given to the family as a keepsake of the experience.

So get your bidding arm ready and pump up the fam, because this could be your chance to win a truly out of the ordinary family portrait opportunity. (And hey, the yummy treats at Taste of the Ozarks are a pretty good perk, too.)
