Using rich, deep colors and varied décor, the Barbos took their home through renovations that started with stark white walls.
The dinning room's neutral china cabinet is a contrast to the intricately painted table.
Even without a green thumb, Dana adds plenty of plant-life throughout her house with realistic silk pieces.
Dana and Gino highlight the art- a very important element to them- throughout their home.
When the lighter-colored granite the Barbos picked wasn't big enough for their kitchen island, a dark granite border was made to add size and decorative contrast.
Cozy furniture creates a family feel in the Barbos living room.
The walls of the master suite are coated with an olive green, complementing the couple's eastern bedroom wall, which is a giant window.
The centerpiece of Dana's studio is the floor-to ceiling cabinet she picked up while antiquing.
