Hear Peter Herschend for free

For anyone interested in entrepreneurship and business insight, this year's Drury convocation series—a near-weekly slate of speakers intended for students but often more interesting for the public—is a must. Sponsored by the Edward Jones Center for Entrepreneurship, some of the top local and national business minds will be on campus between now and the end of the school year.

On October 9 at 7 p.m. at Clara Thompson Hall, the speaker will be Peter Herschend, co-owner and co-founder of Herschend Family Entertainment. The full press release follows below.

Seriously: As a Drury grad, I know most undergrads don't give these events the time of day unless they're required to for class. But grownups probably will.

Best of all, the event is free to attend—no luncheon or fundraiser ticket required. Click here for the full 2008-09 convocation lineup.
