Nixa figures prominently in a cnn.com/Time Magazine story today about Barack Obama's increasing sway in Missouri, particularly rural parts previously deemed "untouchable" by national Democrats.
Interesting how the national media continues to portray non-St. Louis and Kansas City regions of the state. It's one part accuracy, one part stereotype, one part condescension ("Oh, the Midwest yokels are playing politics, how cute!"). Are firearms really that big of an issue in Nixa? Maybe... we guess.
Anyway, give it a read and let us know what you think in the comments.
